My name is Taylor Lookabaugh. I recently graduated from the University of West Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering. I have experience in C primarily. I also have some experience in other languages such as C++, Python, and MATLAB. My education as a computer engineering student allowed me to gain experience in the tools that engineers use to design and test circuits. Here is a link to my resume.

Linux
I have been aboard the GNU/Linux train since 2006 when I ordered some Ubuntu Dapper Drake CDs from Canonical. I fired up the Live CD and promptly installed it on a Dell Inspiron 600m. At the time, I was pleasantly surprised to see how much more responsive it was than Windows XP. Later that year, I decided to get some CDs and burn some distributions of Linux. Hopping from Sabayon, Gentoo, Kubuntu, Foresight, and others. I finally settled on Arch for its “KISS” principle in 2007. I still use Arch on my desktop to this day with a dual boot setup with Windows 10. I took a course in Linux Systems Administration (CTS4348) as an elective in Spring 2018 and passed with an A. I also currently maintain some personal servers running CentOS and FreeBSD for website and development purposes.
